Israeli soldier Omar Maxim Neutra was killed in a Hamas attack on southern Israel on October 7 last year. On Monday, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that the missing American soldier and his body were killed in the Gaza Strip.
The lone soldier, 21, from New York, Maine, served as a tank platoon commander in the 77th Battalion, 7th Armored Brigade.
Until the IDF confirmed his death, Neutra was believed to be alive and captured by Hamas.
On the day of the attack on October 7 last year, he was stationed in a tank near the southern community of the Gaza border.
Dahan was confirmed dead in November, while Daniel was confirmed dead in February.
Now, after 14 months of attack, Israel’s military has confirmed that Neutra was found dead.
